Every project is custom-built around your book, your voice, and your readers.
We look beyond the manuscript itself, considering every element
that helps your story feel natural, consistent, and compelling in its new market.
From the formatting, cover and title page to the back cover, keywords, and blurbs,
we take care of every element that helps your book shine.
We love giving every translated book an initial boost, so we're also available
to support authors with book promotion and targeted advertising,
helping their new editions reach the right readers from day one.
We can also work alongside the author to develop a publishing plan,
coordinating the timing and strategy for launching the translated edition in each target market.
Our Translation and Quality Assurance Process
We follow a rigorous, fully human-led translation and quality assurance process designed to ensure accuracy,
consistency, confidentiality, and high editorial standards at every stage.
All documents are stored and handled securely and are accessible exclusively to linguists
who are bound by strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
1. Human Translation
The translation is completed entirely by a professional human translator, with no AI or machine translation involved. The translator works closely from the source document to ensure that the meaning, tone, terminology, and nuances of the original are accurately conveyed in the target language.
2. Bilingual Editing
The translated document then undergoes a thorough bilingual editing stage. Our first editor reviews the translation against the original source text, assessing accuracy, completeness, terminology, style, and overall fidelity to the source. The editor records comments and suggestions for the translator where revisions or further consideration are required.
3. Review and Resolution
The translator carefully reviews all editorial comments and suggestions. Each point is either incorporated into the translation or discussed and resolved as appropriate. This collaborative stage ensures that editorial feedback is fully considered while preserving the intended meaning and voice of the original text.
4. Monolingual Proofreading
Once the bilingual editing stage has been completed, the document is passed to a proofreader for a separate, monolingual review in the target language. This provides an additional quality-control layer focused on fluency, readability, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and naturalness. The proofreader records any further suggestions or comments for consideration.
5. Final Translator Approval
The translator conducts the final internal review and approves the document following the completion of the editorial and proofreading stages. This ensures that the final version remains faithful to the source while incorporating all agreed revisions.
6. Independent External Review
Following the three internal human review stages, the completed translation is entrusted to an independent external beta reader, who is also bound by an NDA. This final review provides an additional, impartial perspective on the text, helping identify any remaining issues and confirming the overall quality and readability of the translation.
Our Commitment to Quality and Confidentiality
This multi-stage process combines specialist human translation, bilingual editorial review,
monolingual proofreading, translator oversight, and independent external review.
By separating these stages and involving different linguistic perspectives,
we provide a robust quality assurance framework while maintaining
strict confidentiality throughout the entire process.
